Clinical Background & Trauma-Informed Approach
Victoria holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), which allows her to integrate somatic and mindfulness-based practices into her clinical work.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
In her practice, she thoughtfully weaves together these structured therapies with culturally responsive healing practices, supporting the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

A Bit More About Victoria
Victoria’s story is rooted in military life. Raised in a military family, she’s lived around the globe—from England to Hawaii—and eventually found her way to Fairbanks in 2010 via the U.S. Air Force. She’s a proud graduate of Ben Eielson Jr./Sr. High School and has made Alaska home alongside her husband, a fellow Air Force service member.
Outside of the therapy room, Victoria is a joyful mix of grounded professionalism and playful personality. She’s a mom, wife, yogi, and unapologetic lover of chips and salsa, iced coffee, and fantasy novels (lifelong ACOTAR fan!). You might catch her at a Pilates class, deep into a stack of Christmas-scented candles, or watching the latest Bachelor drama.

Meet Jody Smith
Administrative Coordinator at Fireweed & Cedar Wellness Collective
Jody Smith brings a wealth of experience in medical and mental health administration to Fireweed & Cedar Wellness Collective. With a background rooted in supporting healthcare operations, Jody ensures the day-to-day flow of our therapy practice in Alaska runs smoothly and compassionately from client coordination to provider support.
Originally from Southwest Virginia, Jody’s journey has been shaped by more than two decades of service as a proud military spouse. After supporting her husband’s 20+ year career in the U.S. Air Force – and living in many corners of the world – Jody and her family found their way to North Pole, Alaska, where they now call home.
A Friendly, Steady Presence Behind the Scenes
Jody is often the first voice or email our clients encounter, and she brings warmth, clarity, and organization to every interaction. Her experience in healthcare administration ensures that scheduling, billing, and communication are handled with both professionalism and heart.
Outside the Office
When she’s not managing the logistics that keep the collective thriving, Jody enjoys upcycling furniture, baking sweet treats, and spending time with her beloved cats, Millie and Roo. Her go-to coffee order is a hot white chocolate mocha, and she’s always ready for a cozy winter night in—especially if there’s a Hallmark movie involved.
